ADVISORY BOARD
The advisory board will consist of sustainability professionals and alumni of Philadelphia-area universities. The purpose of the advisory board is to provide some continuity for a primarily student-focused group where turnover is inevitable every few years. In addition, board members can provide important insight as well as connections to the wider Philadelphia community. Advisory board members will be selected through an informal application and are expected to be interested in working with SPARC for multiple years. Potential advisory board members might come from organizations such as MAJR Magazine, Grid Magazine, Sustainable Business Network, and the Mayors Office of Sustainability.
STUDENT FELLOWS
SPARC Fellows are go-getters on their campuses and looking to create sustainable change. One to two representative Fellows are accepted for each college/university in the surrounding area by way of the Fellows Application. Fellow terms last one full year (September – May), with the option to reapply if still enrolled in university. Fellows will team up to lead working groups on their specialties.
